Prophet's Respite

Submission to GMTK Game Jam 2026

You must defend your castle from hordes of fiends, while multiple prophecies plague you!

• Q: Grabs items from your castle
• E: Drops items back (only inside your castle, where it is safe!)
• WASD: Move around your prophetic butt
• Left Mouse Button: Attack in the direction of your mouse, as long as you are holding any (or multiple) weapons

Monsters will hound you and try to destroy your castle, defend it with your life and with multiple handy items the longest you can:

• Sword & Bow: Your trusty weapons, needed to defeat all the foes you will encounter!
• Lantern: Will let you see in the endless nights of absolute darkness!
• Fire Boots: Will protect your fragile feed from calamities of fire.
• Speed Boots: Let's you grip the sand and move way faster.
• Healing Potion: Heals you over time so you can recover from damage.

SURVIVE

We represent the "Countdown" with the prophecies, where you have a Countdown to when you KNOW each calamity will become true. You must pick the items you will carry outside your castle carefully in order to handle what the future holds!
